We are excited to announce THREE Ferguson scholarships for September 2026. Each candidate can look to receive full tuition cover (value of £22,500) exclusively available to students from Africa and India for the 2026/27 academic year. With £6,000 additional contribution towards living costs.
These scholarships are supported by the Allan and Nesta Ferguson Charitable Trust who are dedicated to improving educational opportunities for students who would not otherwise be able to consider studying in the UK.
Please note our webform will open from Monday 2 March 2026 until Friday 29 May 2026.

Who can apply?
The Ferguson Scholarships are available to students applying for one of the following postgraduate taught programmes:
- MSc Pharmaceutical Sciences
- MSc Drug Delivery
- MSc Pharmacokinetics
- MSc Stem Cells & Regenerative Medicine
- MSc Biotechnology
- MSc Psychology (Conversion programme)
- MSc Neuroscience for Drug Discovery
- MSc Addiction and Mental Health
- MSc Bioinformatics and Genomic Medicine
- Master of Public Health (MPH)
What is the eligibility criteria?
- You must hold a conditional or unconditional offer for one of the above courses
- Be a national from India or an African country
- Hold a 2:1 degree or equivalent in a relevant subject for the course you are applying for
- Be a self-funded student.
- No agency referred candidates would be eligible.
If successful, note you will be required to provide evidence to the UKVI that you can fully contribute to your living costs.
How do I apply?
- Submit an application for your chosen course by selecting ‘APPLY NOW‘ on the course web pages (select appropriate programme from list above).
- Following the above complete scholarship web form at bottom of this page before the scholarship deadline (29 May 2026).
NB: you will be asked to include your 9 digit application number beginning 25……… - The announcements for the applications for this scholarship are to be made by 30 June 2025 (midnight UK time). Please note that this is the final extended deadline for applications.
No agency referred candidates would be eligible. (Your submission will be automatically removed for review).
What happens next?
The announcement of the awards will be in June 2026 via email.
