Members of the University community, particularly staff and students, are hereby informed that the UNILAG AI UniPod will be unveiled on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, by the Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency, Alhaji Kashim Shettima, GCON, alongside other high-level dignitaries.
In view of this, and due to heightened security arrangements, movement will be temporarily restricted before and during the event at various locations within the Main Campus, including the Senate House axis.
In particular, parking around the Senate House, J. F. Ade Ajayi (Main) Auditorium and Faculties of Law and Engineering will not be permitted before and during the event.
Please note that attendance at the event is strictly by invitation.
Staff, students, and other members of the University community are advised to plan their movements accordingly and cooperate with security personnel to ensure a successful and smooth event.
