Commissioner for Basic and Secondary Education, Jamiu Ali-Balogun, said the initiative aims to empower students as safety ambassadors who promote environmental awareness and safety practices in their schools and communities. He commended students for taking proactive steps, noting that simple habits—such as switching off electrical appliances—can help protect lives and property.
