The Lagos State Examinations Board has announced Friday, August 21, 2026, as the commencement date for its Common Entrance Screening Test, with the exercise scheduled to run until Monday, August 24.
The screening will begin at 8:00 a.m. daily and will take place at the Public Service Staff Development Centre (PSSDC), Magodo, Lagos, which the Board identified as the only designated examination venue.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, the Board disclosed that its examination portal is now open for successfully registered candidates to print their examination slips ahead of the test.
Candidates were advised to carefully verify the information on their slips, including their examination date, and ensure they bring a printed copy to the examination centre.
The Board urged candidates and their parents or guardians to make adequate preparations and arrive at the venue early to avoid delays.
“All candidates are strongly advised to take note of the examination dates, time and venue, and make adequate arrangements to arrive at the centre early,” the Board said.
The Registrar of the Lagos State Examinations Board, Adebayo Orunsolu, also urged candidates to conduct themselves responsibly and comply fully with the examination rules and regulations.
He said adherence to the guidelines would help ensure a smooth and successful conduct of the screening exercise.
The Board further reminded candidates that PSSDC, Magodo, remains the only approved venue for the examination and encouraged all registered candidates to print their slips through the screening test portal before their scheduled examination dates.
It wished all candidates a successful and hitch-free Common Entrance Screening Test.
