Nine educational technology (EdTech) startups from Togo have completed a high-impact incubation programme designed to strengthen their competitiveness and prepare them for expansion into international markets.
The selected startups — MainBridge, Edumiaa, Eforma Africa, ENOVSKY, Edufast, SKULLVI, Deezpro, Nufia, and Mon Choix Ma Carrière — emerged from a pool of 39 applicants to participate in the accelerated e-learning programme. Notably, two of the startups are led by women entrepreneurs.
The initiative was spearheaded by Agence Togo Digital (ATD) with support from the ProDigiT programme of GIZ, aimed at fostering digital innovation and entrepreneurship in the country.
As part of the programme, five startup representatives travelled to Vienna for an intensive study visit hosted by Common Sense, while four others participated virtually from the Djanta Tech Hub in Lomé.
Over two weeks, participants received hands-on training in key areas shaping the future of digital education, including artificial intelligence in learning, digital content creation, learning management systems, accessibility solutions, and business growth strategies.
The programme also enabled founders to benchmark their products against international standards, refine their business models, and engage with experts from the global EdTech ecosystem.
The startups are now entering the next phase of their growth journey through participation in eLearning Africa 2026, Africa’s premier conference on educational innovation, currently taking place in Accra.
Following the conference, the most promising ventures will receive additional mentorship and acceleration support from the Djanta Tech Hub to help scale their solutions and attract investment.
The initiative reflects Togo’s growing ambition to position itself as a regional hub for digital education innovation, leveraging technology to improve learning outcomes and create opportunities for African startups in the global education market.
