2027 Polls: NYSC DG Urges Corps Members to Remain Apolitical
The Director-General of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Brigadier General Olakunle Nafiu, has called on corps members across the country to remain apolitical and uphold neutrality ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The NYSC boss gave the charge while addressing corps members during orientation camp activities, stressing the importance of discipline, professionalism, and responsible conduct both offline and on social media platforms. According to Nafiu, corps members are expected to play critical national roles during election periods, especially in areas such as voter education and election support services. However, he warned that such responsibilities must be carried out with complete neutrality and patriotism.
