FG Greenlights ₦4 Billion for New Tertiary Institutions in Lagos and Abuja

The Federal Government has moved to bolster Nigeria’s educational landscape by approving ₦2 billion each as take-off grants for two newly established institutions: Federal University of Science and Technology, Epe, and Bola Ahmed Tinubu Federal Polytechnic, Abuja.
The funding aims to fast-track early operations and infrastructure development. Alongside the financial commitment, the Minister of Education, Dr. Tunji Alausa, officially inaugurated the pioneer leadership teams in Abuja yesterday to steer these institutions toward their strategic goals.
