Togo AI Lab Introduces Children to AI Through New Digital Education Programme

Share

Togo AI Lab has launched a new digital education initiative designed to introduce children to digital tools and the fundamentals of artificial intelligence from an early age.

The programme, known as “Mon Enfant & le Numérique,” officially commenced on Saturday, August 8, 2026, with the first in a series of educational sessions focused on helping children understand digital technologies in an age-appropriate and engaging environment.

The programme is scheduled to run for four consecutive Saturdays, with participants learning about basic digital tools alongside introductory concepts in artificial intelligence.

According to Togo AI Lab, the initiative is aimed at improving children’s awareness of digital technologies while equipping them with foundational knowledge that could prepare them to become responsible technology users and future innovators.

The organisation said the programme is part of its broader efforts to promote digital literacy and early engagement with emerging technologies in Togo.

By exposing children to digital tools and AI concepts at an early stage, the initiative seeks to develop foundational digital skills that can support their future education, creativity and participation in the country’s growing digital economy.

The programme also highlights the growing importance of introducing children to emerging technologies in ways that are accessible, age-appropriate and focused on building practical understanding.

The next session of “Mon Enfant & le Numérique” is scheduled for Saturday, August 22, 2026, when participants will continue their exploration of digital technologies and artificial intelligence.
